What is R-422D?
R-422D is a blend of R-125, R-134a, and R-600a optimized for medium and low-temperature commercial and industrial applications as a replacement for R-22. Unlike R-422B, R-422D is particularly suited for larger-scale commercial systems. It is compatible with mineral oil (MO) and alkylbenzene (AB) lubricants, requiring minimal system modifications for retrofit.
